Many of our neighbors here in Novato are already aware of this amazing Christmas House, put on every year by Ed and Kathy Rombeiro. Throughout December the Rombeiros open up their home to the public to share the Christmas spirit. Their house is decorated inside and out, with beautiful over the top displays! It takes them 3 months to set up and they have over 140,000 lights used throughout the house. Last year alone they had over 41,000 visitors! This incredibly elaborate Department 56 village display was sent to us from Mark. He told us how he changes his villages around multiple times a year for every season! We look forward to seeing what he makes next!
The main feature of the scale scenic display Linda was building was to be a working waterfall from the Vargas brothers. It would be the perfect element to showcase the various Dept 56 and Lemax buildings. The had three levels to descend to the main level. To achieve the look she wanted, Linda decided to add a waterfall. In the end she added three waterfalls to give the natural look of water descending the mountains.
